First Day Of School

August 21st was Jaydans 1st day of 2nd grade! August 26th was Madysons 1st day of all day Kindergarten! I cant believe I have 2 in school full time. They are getting way too big.

This summer Kamrins mom wanted to spend 2 days a week with the kids so on Mondays she did a craft day with them and on Thursdays she took them to a movie. For the last "craft" day she decided to surprise them and took them to Chuck E Cheese. They were so excited when they figured out they were going there instead of the dollar store like they thought. We spent a couple hours there playing and eating pizza. Brynlee loved all the games but no Chuck E Cheese himself :-) Every time he would come out she would start crying. My kids really loved spending so much quality time with their grandma this summer and we are so thankful she did so many fun things for them.

Hammond Family Reunion Day 3 & 4

On Monday we headed to Vernal to go to the Dinosaur museum and to Dinosaur Monument Park. We had a picnic lunch at a park also. We spent most of the day at those 2 place and the traveling time getting there. By the time we got back to the cabin it was dinner time. After dinner we did a taste test with cola products. I thought I could get them all right because Im a big soda drinker but I did get a couple wrong. We then played The Newlywed game which was actually REALLY fun!! Even though Kamrin and I didn't win we did pretty good, It was interesting to see what we thought each other would say. The next morning we packed up and did a taste test with citrus soda such as Sprite, Squirt, Mt Dew and knock off ones. It was no surprise I got all of them right :-) We then played with a huge parachute like we played with in elementary. We loaded up and headed home. We stopped at Dickies BBQ in Heber for lunch. It was Yummy!! After that we all split up and headed home. Even though it was a fun trip we were all very glad to be home and get back to our schedule!
