Memorial Weekend

This weekend was one crazy, busy, fun and painful weekend! We had tons planned and lots of it turned out and lots of unexpected things happened also. Anyone who knows mw well or is close to me knows Im so MISERABLE with this pregnancy. My body is fighting her every second of everyday right now. Ill post about all that after my doc appt today. Anyways I wanted to have a super fun family day and also one last date with Kamrin before this little one comes and this weekend worked out perfect for both. Saturday we woke up and decided we would head up to Layton for the Hill Air Force Base air show. It was a bit brezzy and the weather said there would be light afternoon showers. We planned for it and we all wore long sleeves and jackets. We made it up there about 1030 and got right onto the bus to head to the show area. We walked around for a while and got some food here and there. We got to see some amazing things. Not only was the air show part awesome but all the planes and such they had open were so neat and the kids loved it. After being there about an hour and a half or so it started raining some. It was getting quite cold so I commented that we should leave soon if it stayed like that much longer and Kamrin agreed. We walked towards an enormous plane and all the sudden it was like a down pour. We got under the planes wing hoping it would pass soon but it just kept getting worse. There was only 2 hangers open and everyone was running for them for shelter. We got in one and stood there for about 10 min. One of the guys next to us looked at the weather on his phone and said it looked like the storm would stay around for another hour and a half!! So we could stand in a VERY crowded hanger where we could barely move with 3 young kids or we could make a run for it and try to get to our car as quick as possible that was at least a mile from where we were. We decided to run for it. Kamrin was holding Kamdyn because he had been in the stroller all morning and was not happy at all in there at that point. I pushed the older 2 in the stroller and we ran. Oh my what an adventure. The rain got worse. The wind got worse. It was like a tropical storm at this point. It was the type that it took your breath away when it hit your face. It took about 10 min to get from where we were to the buses that were taking people to their cars. You can just imagine the line there so we knew if we waited it would take over an hour to get to our van due to the crowd. Kamrin found us a tree to stand under that made it so we were just getting drizzled on instead of down poured on, handed me Kamdyn and ran as fast as he could to our van to come pick us up. So here I am with a 5 and 4 year old in a double stroller and holding an 18 month old while being huge pregnant under a tree and soaked as can be. Lets just say we all were in tears almost the whole time waiting for Kamrin to come with the car. It took about 20 min or so for him to run there and make it to us in the traffic but that 20 min felt like an hour in that crappy weather with kids crying and shaking. Seeing how miserable, wet and cold Kamdyn was, was what got me crying. It was awful. I tried so hard to snuggle him close and keep him as warm as I could but poor kid was shaking. So as he pulled up we got in the van and took off as much as the wet clothes we could. Luckily I carry an extra outfit for Kamdyn so I got him in that and the older 2 were protected for the most part in the stroller so they just took off their jackets, shoes and socks and Kamrin alreay had the heater going to warm us all up. Kamrin and I were SOAKED! It was quite the adventure! To treat ourselves after such a draining experience we stopped at Krisy Kremes and got YUMMY doughnuts. After getting home and getting in dry clothes I went to and picked out fabric for the babys car seat cover with my mom. The rest of the night was relaxing. Sunday we had a lazy morning. Kamrin made us yummy breakfast burritos. In the afternoon we took the kids to my sisters house for a sleep over. Kamrin and I went and walked around City Creek even though they are closed on Sundays just so we could check it out. We then went to Kamrins moms to visit until it was time to head to his brothers wrestling event. There was 2 former WWE wrestlers there which was pretty cool! After we watched Eastons match we took off to enjoy the rest of our evening kid free. I got dinner from Sconecutter and Kamrin got his from Rancharitos and we brought it home and watched The Vow together. Monday we got to sleep in which was nice and we then did some yard work together. We then went out to my sisters house in Saragtoga Springs for lunch and some of them went swimming. I was not feeling good at all so Kamrin and I came home and my sister kept the kids out there so we came home a took a 3 hour nap together. It felt so good!!! When she brought them home it was almost their bed time so after putting them to bed we just cuddled up and watched some tv. So we did have some crazy adventures. lots of relaxing and lots of time together. What more could a girl ask for :-)

Believe it or not this was the calm part of the storm

Preschool Graduation

Last night was Maddies preschool graduation. They had it at Jungle Jims. They got to play and ride the rides for a while then we had pizza for dinner. After the kids "ate" their dinner they went to play for a while again until it was time to do the certificates. After everyone got all their stuff they ran off to play again until it was time to go. All the kids had so much fun. Cant believe she has completed her 2nd year of preschool!! Time flies when you have kids!

Artic Circle Field Trip

Maddies last day of preschool was Monday and it also was a field trip. They got to go to Artic Circle so it was a fun way to end the school year. They got a tour and got to make their own cones. We then got chicken rings, mini corn dogs, fries and drinks for everyone and ate and played in the play place the rest of the time. All the kids had lots of fun.

Mixed Feelings

Im very excited to meet this little girl but there are so many mixed emotions that come with that. Part of me wants to hold her in there forever. Not only because this is my last pregnancy so I want it to last but the thought of having 4 kids seem so much more overwhelming then 3. I know its an adjustment just like every other kid I have had and I know it will come natural just like the others but Im still very very nervous to have her here. The other part of me cant wait to get her out because Im so MISERABLE! My body hurts so bad and I dont get much sleep yet Im so tired all the time. My doctor said he doesnt think she will make it to June. Ill believe it when I see it. All my kids play this game and threaten to come for months before they should and when it comes time that its okay they come they hang on tight and end up having to be forced out. I think she will be no different. As of today the very longest I will be pregnant is 3 weeks and 3 days!! That seems so unreal! I look at all her stuff and it makes me so excited to have another girl to dress up and accessorize. She is going to be one of the best dressed babies out there :-) If only this great dressed baby had a name yet. This has been a very frustrating process for sure. I feel like Ill never find the "perfect" name for her. Not only did is her first name up in the air but I second guessing her middle name now too. The one think I know is I really want Lyn in the somewhere after my mom but not sure I want her names after me too. Kamrin just laughs at me cause I get so frustrated about it and let it get to me a little more then it should lol. I still have a little time but I really want a name set like 5 months ago!! :-) My older 2 are so so so excited for her to come! They ask me daily how much longer. They love hugging and kissing my belly and talking to her. Im not sure how Kamdyn will do. He loves babies but not sure how much he will love one that take up so much of mommys attention and never leaves. He has become such a mommys boy lately. More then normal. I think he can sense a huge change is headed our way. Its sad for me to face the fact I will never feel my baby move inside of me once she does make her grand appearance but at the same time Im very excited to enter a new chapter in our lives with our family being complete!

Mother Day

Mothers Day this year was GREAT!! We started celebrating on Sat with Kamrins family with a very YUMMY dinner at his parents house. The next morning I slept in about 2 hours more then I normally get to. When I walked out of my room I smelled bacon and sausage and was greeted by "Hurry get back in bed" Of course I wouldnt agrue with that :-) About 15 minutes later in came Kamrin with a tray of food followed by 3 smiling kids saying "Happy Mothers Day Mommy" Best way to start the morning for sure. They then went out to eat theirs and so I got to eat a YUMMY breakfast in my bed in peace and quiet. After I went out and joined them and we just had a lazy morning together. We then got ready and went to Kamrins parents ward to hear them speak. They both did a very good job on their talks. We then headed home and all 5 of us took a family nap together which is a very rare occasion so I was so thankful for that. Not only did we master getting all 3 kids to sleep but we all slept for over 3 hours!! It was so nice! We woke up just in time to head to my grandmas for dinner. All the kids got to play and all the adults visited. It was really such an amazing and relaxing day which I rarely get these days so it was much needed.

To the 4 amazing kids that make me a mommy I love you all so very much! I havent met the little one yet but my love for her is the same as her siblings already! I am so blessed to have these amazing kids as my own!!!
I am also so blessed to have such an amazing mom myself. I cant put into words what an amazing woman she is!

Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers out there!!!

Crazy Friday

Friday was a pretty eventful day. I ended up taking Kamdyn to the doctor with a 2nd degree burn on his hand and then had to go to the doctor myself to check on this little fighter I have in me. My doctor wants to do a NST on me to check on baby. What they are looking for is find babys rate base which was 150-160 so the thing they want to happen is her rate to jump 15 and stay that was for 15 sec or more. Thats shows a happy and stress free baby. After 10 minutes of trying her rate wouldnt increase where they wanted so they told me they were going to shock her. Scared the crap out of me! She pulled out this little device and showed me on my arm that it didnt hurt at all. In fact I didnt feel anything at all really. Maybe a little vibration. It made a loud sound though. So then she put it toward the end of my stomach and WOW! Baby girl jumped like crazy! I felt like she was going to come out my throat!! It worked though. Her heart rate went up to 182. They shocked her just before 4pm and that girl didnt stop moving til after 8pm! She wanted to make sure she didnt get shocked again so dodnt stop moving at all. At that point my contractions were about 3 minutes apart so the doc checked me. I was actually shocked when he said I was already 60% effaced. He said even though I was only dilated to a 2 my cervix was extremely soft. Im not expecting anything from it. I would LOVE going into labor on my own this time with her being my last. I have never experienced but like the other 3 Im sure that wont happen. My body doesnt do well with pain so its not until I get the epidural my body will allow itself to go into full blown labor. So Im sure the next month will be full of contractions and bad pain but it wont be until they hook me up to pitocin and an epidural that she will really come. Only time will tell I guess.

1st School Report

Jaydan did his first report at school. The topic was wild animals and Jaydan chose to do spider monkeys. I was so proud of him. He wrote on his poster all by himself and when it was time to tell his class about them he insisted on doing it himself and he did great! I cant believe my little Jaydan is almost done with Kindergarten already! He has grown so much this school year!! I just love this kid to pieces and couldnt be more proud of him.

Even after taking 2 sleeping pills each night I still get very little sleep. My back is KILLING me! Even her movements make me want to cry in pain. I think being a little low on fluid makes it so I feel every movement to the extreme because I dont remember my other 3 making me cry just from moving.  I am getting very excited to see and hold this little princess but the closer it is getting Ill be honest Im starting to panic alot!! Here is a pic of her CUTE bed!!
