Pampering A Princess!!

When I found out Madyson was a girl I was SO SO SO excited!! Im a major girly girl. I love anything and everything girly!! I have been told over and over how I am out of control with the girly stuff I buy for Maddie. Girls need their pretties and accessories in my eyes. Now I know I have ALOT and she hasnt even had a chance to wear even 1/8th of what she has but hey when I need it, it will be there. The things I collect for her are bracelets, earrings and WOW I have ALOT of hair pretties for her. I have more then I will ever need but I cant help myself. I always see more and I just have to get it. I have gotten rid of SO many and still have hundreds and hundreds!! If my husband only knew how much I have spent on this kind of stuff :-) Lately the new girly accessory I have been collecting alot of for her is play necklaces. She LOVES them. She will sit there for an hour just put them on and take them off. I love Jay to death and wouldnt trade him for anything this world has to offer but having a girl is sure fun!! I love the clothes, dresses and all the accessories that come with having a girl!! So you be the judge am I OUT OF CONTROL or just having fun pampering my princess :-)

I have had a bladder infection that I think has now turned into a kidnay infection so my wonderful in laws took my kids over night so I could rest in peace and quiet so I have caught up on most of the stuff I have needed to blog about. I LOVE that Jaydan is at the age where he can get excited about holidays and that he now knows more of what is going on. The last week or so he has seen Valentines commercials and shows and he would tell me that he wants a Valentines Day. My mom always made Valentines and every other holiday so special for us and got us presents for them all and and did special things for it and I want my kids to have that also. So yesterday the kids woke up and my wonderful husband got up with them and let me sleep in a little more. When I came out I saw their very healthy breakfast. Daddy had let them eat the HUGE heart shape cookies our home teachers brought us! Healthy not so much but hey its Valentines! Then we opened all the prizes my mom, grandma and my aunt Lorraine sent for the kids and they were in heaven!! Then we pulled out the presents for Kamrin and I and wow I think they love Valentines now :-) It was Christmas all over again!! Then we ate heart shape tuna sandwiches for lunch. Kamrin and Jaydan got to play Dont Break The Ice a few times and Jay thought it was so awesome to make the guy fall!! We then took Maddie to aunt Pashell so Kamrins parents, Kamrin and I could take Jaydan to Monster Trucks!!! We rode Traxs there so Jay could ride on a choo choo and he loved it!! We got there and the lights went out and it got LOUD! Jay got terrifed and started crying. I felt horrible. Kamrin was still up getting ear plugs so I was holding his ears but with how loud it was and then the dark that was not a good combo. The ear plugs werent doing the job so he was still scared with how loud it was. After daddy went and got him $20 tire ear muffs and mommy got him $10 cotton candy he was one happy boy!!!! He LOVED it after that. Hamma and Hampa spoiled him rotten!! They got him a race flag to wave, a monster truck toy and a awesome glider disc!!! We all really enjoyed ourselves! After that us 5 went to Olive Garden! YUMMMMMY! One of my favorite places! After we went and got Maddie and Hamma gave the kids their Valentines prizes! Like I said Christmas again :-) Our last stop was to see my grandma, mom and Kim. After we got the kids to bed Kamrin and I watched a movie together. We had a GREAT and FUN Valentines!! One of my best ones actually!! Kamrin asked me last week if I rather so something romantic then go to Monster Trucks and I said not at all! The thing that makes me the most happy is to see my husband and kids happy, excited and having a blast! I dont need Valentines to feel how much my husband loves me or to show him how much I love him. I actually rather be romanced on just a random day rather then a day they are supposed to. Im silly I know but even though we had no alone time til after bed time I had one of the best Valentines ever!! The best part is my husband surprised me with a dozen chocolate strawberries and grapes from Cummings Chocolate so what else could I need!?!?!?

Happy Birthday Shaless And Kim!!!!!

This past Friday was not only my sister Kims birthday but it was Kamrins sister Shaless' birthday also. Their birthday landed on Friday the 13th this year!! It was a big birthday for Kim! It was her 3oth!! I feel bad posting this without a video of Jaydan talking to them but I wanted to catch up and we have been so busy and havent had time to make one but I promise you both that very soon I will post a video for each of you from him!! He loves making these videos for peoples birthdays!!

I know Shaless got to have her birthday off this year and was planning a nice and quiet day to herself and ending it with a nice dinner with her hubby. Shaless I really hope you had a great birthday!! You are a great aunt and a great sister! You have made me feel like not just your sister in law but like your sister. I love spending time with you guys and I know my kids just adore you to pieces!! Happy Birthday and we love you!!!

Kim on the other hand was stuck at work poor thing. I hope the night made up for it though. Some girls in her ward threw her a surprise party that my little family, my mom and Steph went to and we had fun!! The theme was 13 Going On 30 the movie since her 30th birthday landed on Friday the 13th! I thought it was clever!! So the refreshments were candy and treats from the 80s! 80s music was played! It was just fun!! Kim I hope you had a great birthday! Im happy we got to share some of it with you!! Thank you for being such a great sister and friend to me!! You always do soooo much for us and we appreciate it more then you know!! My kids just love you to death!! Happy Birthday and we love you!!

Many Thoughts And Emotions!!

Lately I have been going through alot and have had many emotions and I have wanted to have a place to write them and share them with anyone who would listen and I think I came up with a solution. Im going to create another blog that is just for me to vent, share feelings and write my gratitude for things. I know I could just do it on this blog but I really just wanted this blog to be about my family and things going on with us and also to show how fast my kids are growing. Also this blog is not private and I would make my new blog private for the simple fact that its my deep thoughts and feelings so I wouldnt want just anyone being able to read that. Prayers Really Do Get Answered!!

Today was full of emotion for me. This morning was so overwhelming of fear and worry. We went to meet with the surgery to hear the biopsy results and so he could check on Jaydans cheek. We got there at 10:15am and we got right back. At this point I was ready to throw up!! He came in and my heart was beating so hard! He said its a blah blah blah blah blah HUGE word :-) Then came Ashley talk. Basically its a non cancerous tumor!! WOW at that exact moment 5 million pounds of stress, worry, fear and all emotions like that just lifted off my shoulders! I woke up from my 2 month long nightmare!! Mine along with everyone elses prayers was answered!! I looked at my amazing and brave little boy and for the first time in 2 months knew he was going to be just fine!! I can not tell you how I felt at that moment. Just thinking about it makes me cry. Happy tears of course! I feel so blessed and so grateful! These past 2 months have been a huge eye opener to me. I now see how fast life can just change and how precious every single second is. I will now hug my kids more, kiss them more and tell them I love them none stop. As for my little Jaydan I have never been such a proud mom!! He has been so tough and sooooo brave!! After what he went through and the pain he had he knew we were going to the doctor today and he was all smiles and no fear whatsoever!! Im so proud of him.

Mommy is sooo proud of you! You are the bravest little boy! Im so happy you are healthy! You and your sister mean the world to me and I dont know what I would do without you! Im so glad things will only look up for you from here. I cant wait to see what life brings you. You are an amazing little boy with such a special spirit that truly touches everyone who meets you. You lighten up the room and you know how to make me smile when Im sad. I just love you more then I could ever tell you. I feel truly honored to be your mom. Thank you for being you!!

I would really like to thank you all who have supported, showed your love, prayed for us and gave us encouraging words!! I was also shown what amazing people I have in my life!! I really appreciate it more then you will ever know! I want to thank my Heavenly Father for carrying us through the last 2 months and thank you for walking Jaydan through this and making him so brave. I know I have a LONG prayer to say tonight to show my gratitude. Now that I can no longer see through the tears I just want to say thank you all again!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

Today is my wonderful moms birthday! I spent most of the day with her and I hope she had as great time as my kids and I had. I took her out to lunch to a Chinese buffet which was yummy! Then we came out to my house to get her present and hung out at my grandmas the rest of the day. My siblings all came over for pizza, cupcakes and ice cream. It was really fun. Mom I hope you had a great birthday!! You deserve it!! I love you! You are not only my mom but you are one of my best friends. I hope I am half the mom you are. I love you!

Today is my husbands birthday. He turned 26 today! The other day he looked at me and said "Im getting old, Im gonna be closer to 30 then 20 now!" I dont think he is old but hey. Today has been just another day so far. He is working so its just me and the kids. We went shopping all day to celebrate LOL. We got him balloons and fun stuff like that. After work we are going out to dinner and come home to give him presents. I just wanna tell him how much I love him and how grateful I am for him. He is a great husband and daddy. Happy Birthday Babe! I hope you have a great birthday night at least. I love you and and I am so thankful for you and for everything you do for me and our kids! You mean the world to all 3 of us!! I love you!!!
