On Tuesday had his first soccer game. I thought it was going to be cancelled due to the horrible winds but it wasnt too bad during the game so they were able to play. His first practice was so fun to watch. He was SO cute the entire time. The game was even cuter!! He did such a good job too! I was so proud!! He was so quick to go after the ball. The coach kept him in most of the game. He only took him out a couple times so he could get a drink and rest for a minute then put him right back in. He is the smallest but that didnt slow him down one bit. He did so amazing for never even seeing a soccer game ever. He has only seen basketball, baseball and football so before his 1st practice he had no idea what soccer was all about. He did know you kick the ball in soccer but thats it. He has caught on so good and I am such a proud mom!! After the game Kamrins parents, his sister, her fiance and his brother went with us out to dinner to Chilis to celebrate him doing so good in his very first soccer game. I cant believe my little Jaydan is big enough for preschool and now sports. It just doesnt seem possible. Seems like I was just becoming a first time mom with him. I love this little guy more them words and describe. I cant wait to watch his next practices and games! I smile the entire time!!
Isnt he such a stud????

Preschool Outside Fun Day
Monday Jaydan had an outside day at preschool. My aunt called me the night before to see if I would stay to help out and of course I said yes. I love being there and watching the kids have so much fun, take pictures and it also gives Maddie a chance to stay and join in the fun. They blew bubbles, played on the swing set, jumped on the trampoline and played with balls. Throughout the outside fun my aunt would call 2 in at a time to make their "dirt" cups. Its smashed oreos, chocolate pudding and another layer of smashed oreos, then you put gummy worms on top. Both my kids had so much fun!

Soccer Mom
Im officially a soccer mom!! Jaydan started soccer today. We met with his coach and team at the rec center that is literally at the end of our street this morning at 9:45am. For the last couple weeks whenever we brought up him starting soccer he would get pretty upset and say in a very firm voice "I dont want to play soccer!!" I would just chuckle and tell him it was already paid for and he had to. Walking over there this morning I could tell he was getting really excited about it. They passed out uniforms, went over rules and the schedule and then it was time for practice. Jaydan is the shortest of this team and he looks SO cute out there!! Kamrin and I were giggling the whole time watching him. For being so firm about not wanting to play he had a smile on his face the ENTIRE time we were there. Watching him out there was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I cant wait to go back and watch his first game on Tuesday!

9 Week Ultrasound
I went to the doc on Monday when I was exactly 9 weeks not for the baby but because I had been really sick for almost a week and I was afraid it had turned into pneumonia because every time I would breathe I sounded like a baby rattle and I couldnt seem to catch my breath. Luckily it hadnt turned into pneumonia yet but I had a few things going on that I needed medicine for. Anyways my doc did an ultrasound to just check on the baby since I had a fever for a few days straight. I of course didnt put up a fight to see our little baby again :-) It had grown so much in the almost 2 weeks since I had seen it last. It didnt look only like a bean but we could actually see features present like arms, legs and such. With my history with miscarriages I LOVE ultrasounds and hearing the heart as much as possible for my own peace of mind. It made me feel so good that it was growing and developing so great. The doc did measurements and it was actually measuring a bit bigger then 9 weeks. Not too much bigger but its a comfort to think its not only on schedule but maybe even a little ahead. I cant wait to see our baby again :-)

Sleep
When you become a mom the word sleep becomes a foreign word to you. You forget what it even means. With your first baby when you get pregnant your body prepares you for a newborn. You wake up quite a few times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and also having a huge belly that moves doesnt make it easy to sleep as is. When you have the baby your up every couple hours feeding and changing it. When they sleep its sometimes hard to sleep because if your like me I was very paranoid and had to check on my baby 100 times a night. With Jaydan he was up every 2-3 hours and the second he started stirring we would make a mad dash to the kitchen to fix his bottle cause oh man the second he was awake enough to realize he was hungry the whole house heard all about it loud and clear. He didnt start sleeping through the night til 7 or 8 months old. Then there was Maddie. She pretty much slept through the night from day 1. The first week or so I would be the one to wake her up to eat til I realized how crazy I was lol. If she was hungry enough she would wake up on her own so I took advantage and slept as much as possible. The last few months Maddie has decided since she skipped the newborn non sleeping stage it would be a nice time to go through it. She wakes up at least a few times a night crying. Im not even quite 10 weeks along and I already wake up once or twice a night to go to the bathroom. That is not a good sign to how much I will need to go when the baby is bigger then a grape :-) I usually do okay with no sleep but being pregnant it is so hard. Im always so exhausted and can never catch up on sleep. Its so hard to find the energy to get my daily duties done plus give my kids all the attention they need. I hope these sleepless nights dont last. I really would love to sleep through the night a couple months before we start the journey of another newborn,

Little Baby Bean
Im just over 8 weeks pregnant now and have had 2 ultrasounds already. Last week I was having a pain on my left side and was very dizzy so I went to an urgent care and they sent me to the ER to make sure it was not a tubal pregnancy. THANKFULLY it was not and baby is right where it should be! A couple of odd things happened at the ER. One of the doctors was pretty weird. Luckily only had to deal with that one once and had a very weird ultrasound tech! Another odd thing was they couldnt find my left ovary for some reason. Tried 2 different ultrasounds and 15-20 mins and it was not showing up! Im just thankful the baby was okay and in the uterus. The baby has a very strong heart beat too. It was beating 149 bpm. On Friday I went to my first OB appt and he did another ultrasound and everything looked great still which Im so thankful for! When I am pregnant I love following Babycenter.com. It gives you weekly updates on the development of your baby. This is some of what is going on with our baby bean at 8 weeks...
Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, its eyelids practically cover its eyes, breathing tubes extend from its throat to the branches of its developing lungs, and its "tail" is just about gone. Your baby is about the size of a kidney bean and is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.

Hammond Baby #3!!
Kamrin and I are SO VERY excited because we are expecting our 3rd baby!!! Hammond baby #3 is due November 22. 2010! So far this pregnancy has been fairly good. I have moments of nausea or have no appetite at all but other times I cant stop eating and crave certain things and cant get enough of it :-) Instead of morning sickness I get evening sickness. I have a really hard time eating dinner most of the time. If I go too long without eating I get very nauseous. So far my big cravings have been mexican food, pickles and cottage cheese used as dip for regular potato chips!! So far I think its a girl. Its exactly like my pregnancy with Maddie and nothing like my pregnancy with Jay. With Jay I had no nausea at all except when I ate too much lol. With Maddie it was off and on and mostly at dinner time. I didnt eat dinner at "dinner time" for the first 3 months of my pregnancy. Early pregnancy is always so scary for me. I have had many miscarriages so Im always afraid its going to happen again. This pregnancy I had a good feeling from the beginning that it would be okay but I didnt want to jinx myself and think it was all okay and have something happen. On April Fools I decided it would be fun to "announce" I was pregnant on Facebook because we werent ready to really announce and figured nobody would believe me anyways so I could get it out of my system since it was really hard holding the news in :-) I didnt think through the aftermath very well though. figured after April Fools if I didnt say anything else about it people would forget about it. Not so much! After many calls, texts and emails I decided I couldnt dodge it anymore. On Easter Kamrin and I sat our kids down and explained it to them. They both were really excited to know we were going to have a baby. I asked them if they wanted it to be a baby boy or baby girl and they both said a baby girl. A few weeks before then out of nowhere Jay came out of the play room and said "Mommy we are going to have a baby boy" This blew me away seens how we hadnt even mentioned the baby to them yet. I asked him how we were going to have a baby boy and he said "From a baby boy seed and we will put it in your tummy" I have no idea where he came up with that!! Anyways we decided it would be fun to let the kids announce the pregnancy to family. When we went to Kamrins parents I whispered in Maddies ear to go tell Hamma and Hampa that she was going to be a big sister. She goes up to them and says "We are having a baby boy" I have no idea where she got that from out of Im going to be a big sister LOL! She told everyone else that same thing. So they both call it baby boy yet both say they want a baby girl :-) I guess we will see soon enough.

Easter 2010
We really had a GREAT Easter!! The kids had smiles throughout the whole day and we had so much fun all day long. When we woke up we came up and saw what the Easter Bunny brought! The kids loved their stuff so much. After seeing what was in their baskets they noticed there was eggs hidden in the living room and their play room. They had so much fun going on an egg hunt to find all the eggs the Easter Bunny left! After the egg hunt they opened every egg and put all the money in them in their piggy banks! We had an Easter breakfast and then aunt Shaless, uncle Jared and Jareds 2 brothers stopped by for a while and they played Wii. Then it was nap time which was really short. Then we got the kids ready to go to our first stop. I had their cute dressy Easter outfits all ready and Jay BEGGED me to let him wear his new Wii shirt the Easter Bunny brought him and how could I let him down?? So I told him he could if he promised to take good pictures in his nice outfit :-) Our first stop was to grandma and grandpa Hammonds house. They told the kids the Easter Bunny left stuff for them there too!! They had to find where they were hidden. They got these adorable gardening bags. Maddies is Abby and Jays is Elmo. They each had gardening tools, kid size gardening gloves, seeds and other gardening things. Also had candy, twinkies and their favorite...string cheese!! Our next stop was to Kamrins grandmas house. We went up to visit with her for a while. After there we went to my aunt Kays house for a yummy dinner and an egg hunt for all the little kids! It was alot of fun. The kids got ALOT of stuff on Easter! They are so spoiled :-) I hope you all had a great Easter!
The Easter Bunny ate the cupcakes the kids left for him and left them a note and some prizes by it!

Cupcakes And Easter Eggs
Saturday before Easter I let the kids help me make cupcakes for the Easter Bunny. They were so excited to make him cupcakes!! After that we went to my grandmas house and dyed Easter eggs with my mom and sisters. The kids had so much fun and thought it was so cool to color the eggs!
